Yusuf — Michael Angelos Mega Slice Pizza & Donair operator

I dealt directly with Yusuf, the operator of Michael Angelos Mega Slice Pizza & Donair, in connection with my 2015 restaurant-space arrangement at 420 Richards Street in Vancouver. He introduced himself publicly to me and others as “Michael Angelo.” I later learned that this was not his legal name. I remember his first name as Yusuf, but I do not currently know his surname.

I paid my agreed portion of the rent to him. Wilson, the building manager, later came to the premises and demanded overdue rent from him, and I learned that the main rent had not been paid for a long time. After I refused to keep paying my portion of the rent to him, Yusuf changed the locks and I lost access to the restaurant space. He also removed my restaurant signage and equipment from the space.
