Locked out of my restaurant

In 2015 I subleased part of 420 Richards Street in Vancouver to run a vegan restaurant and paid my share of rent to Yusuf, the operator of Michael Angelos Mega Slice Pizza & Donair.

After I learned the main rent was not being paid as expected, I stopped paying him. He changed the locks, and my restaurant signage and equipment were removed from the space. I contacted the Vancouver Police Department and filed a Small Claims case. The matter was never resolved after I later left Canada for work in Asia.
